Materials

I conceptualize my work before I start. Usually this means that I do a mock up of my idea and I use watercolors or acrylic pens to add color. Seeing it on paper only fuels the excitement of creating the piece. Then I source the supplies required. Supplies can come from being out in nature, from Etsy (I love supporting small businesses) or from a retail vendor.
